Apple and Amazon intend to reverse a trend that has been in place since the Covid crisis. Recently, these large groups sent a letter to their employees to warn them of the end of teleworking. Report.

For two months, Jean-Philippe Martial has not physically set foot in his company. For logistical reasons, the 30 employees of this data management platform are 100% teleworking. To interact with his colleagues, Jean-Philippe Martial uses an application that looks like a video game. Virtual interactions that do not replace exchanges at the coffee machine. In January, he will return to the office: “It’s also positive to be able to have lunch with colleagues, to chat with them and to be able to have one or two days a week of teleworking.”

In 2023, one in five employees worked remotely. But this figure is currently falling. Only 24% of them now work remotely three days or more from home. The majority of employees work once or twice a week from home.
So, is teleworking doomed to disappear? This is the wish of some business leaders, in increasing numbers.
