(New York) Boston Bruins star Brad Marchand was suspended for six games by the NHL on Wednesday for roughing and high-sticking an offense against Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristant Jarry.

It’s Marchand’s eighth career suspension and his second this season.
The event, which occurred the day before, came with just 25 seconds left in a game the Penguins won 4-2. He punched Jarry in the face before reaching his mask with his stick as the judge escorted him out of the fray.
Marchand was suspended for three games in November for tripping a Vancouver Canucks player.
