Shots fired near Saint-Michel metro station

Shots were fired Tuesday evening near the Saint-Michel metro station, in the Villeray – Saint-Michel – Parc-Extension district in Montreal. Police say there are no casualties at the moment.

Shortly after 8 p.m., shots were fired near François-Perrault and L. -O. streets. -David, in the Villeray – Saint-Michel – Parc-Extension sector in Montreal, said Véronique Comtois, spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montreal (SPVM)

At least one cartridge case was found on the ground and a projectile impact was located on the facade of a community building. No casualties were located.

The scene is currently protected.

Investigators will meet with witnesses and try to see if cameras could have captured the scene.
