Shots fired in Montreal North

Shots fired Thursday evening in the Montreal-North borough left at least one injured. Montreal police have opened an investigation.

This was reported by agent Véronique Dubuc, spokesperson for the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM).

The initial event occurred around 6:55 p.m., at the corner of rue Pascal and avenue Jubinville. At this point, very few details are still known about the nature of the altercation that preceded the shooting.

One thing is certain: in the past, this intersection has already been the target of gunfire, notably in 2015, in 2018 as well as in 2020.
