Shots fired at a residence in Laval

A residence in the Sainte-Rose district of Laval was targeted by gunfire during the night from Thursday to Friday.


The front door of the home located on Dufferin Terrace was smashed by firearm projectiles around 2:30 a.m., indicates the public relations officer of the Laval Police Service (SPL), Stéphanie Beshara.

Investigators are currently on site to clarify the circumstances of this event, which caused no injuries.

It is currently unknown whether the occupants of the house were known to the police or if they were indeed the people targeted.

No suspects have been arrested in connection with this episode of armed violence.
