Short victory for two candidates of Denis Coderre

Lionel Perez finally obtained a narrow victory in Côte-des-Neiges – Notre-Dame-de-Grâce where he was re-elected as mayor of the borough.

The candidate of the Ensemble Montréal – Équipe Denis Coderre team obtained 193 more votes than Gracia Kasoki Katahwa, who represented Projet Montréal under Mayor Valérie Plante.

In Outremont, another candidate from Denis Coderre’s team won by a tiny majority of 23 votes, according to the last official count (59 polling stations counted out of 59). Laurent Desbois obtained 4,151 votes against 4,128 votes that went to Philippe Tomlinson of Projet Montréal.

The participation rate in Outremont was 56%, significantly higher than that of Côte-des-Neiges – Notre-Dame-de-Grâce at 32%.
