Four teenagers were arrested in Repentigny and Montreal on Tuesday morning in connection with a July shooting in Repentigny, where a young person was injured by a projectile from a firearm.

The shooting occurred at Langelier Park on July 6, around 8:30 p.m. A youth was shot and taken to hospital for serious injuries.
“To date, the victim still has serious consequences,” said the Police Department of the City of Repentigny in a press release.
The Repentigny police, assisted by those of the Sûreté du Québec, have been carrying out searches and arrests in connection with this event since Tuesday morning.
For the moment, two searches are underway in Repentigny, where the authorities have arrested two young people aged 17 and 18.
A search is underway in Montreal, where the alleged 17-year-old shooter was arrested. A 16-year-old girl is also detained. The police seized a handgun and several ammunition at this location.
Those arrested will be questioned and some will appear in the juvenile court in Joliette during the day.
