Singer, actress, Louane is a complete artist who succeeds in everything. Discovered in 2013 thanks to “The Voice” and Caesarized for “La Famille Bélier”, Louane will be from tomorrow, Monday May 16, in the cast of the TF1 series “Visions” which mixes polar and supernatural.
This Sunday evening, the young mother was the guest of the magazine “Seven to eight”. On this occasion, the now 26-year-old musician returned to the terrible drama she endured during her life. Her father, Jean-Pierre Peichert, died while she was starting “The Voice”. He died of cancer at the age of 59. Already marked by this terrible loss, Louane then lost her mother, a few months later, on April 28, 2014.
When asked how she did not sink in the face of this terrible ordeal, the interpreter of “Avenir” confided: “I think I was very, very well surrounded. And then I really locked myself into work”. And to continue: “I needed to do something else. And I definitely think being able to focus on the album, go on tour quickly, I think that saved me a lot. It kind of delayed things a bit in terms of of mourning obviously, and I think I broke down a little later. But in the moment, it gave me strength, it held me in place and it allowed me to move forward. I think also that thanks to that, even if I took a long time to mourn, it was so much sweeter”, she shared.
Already in 2016, Louane confided in the TF1 magazine. “My mother transmitted to me the taste for work (…) And my father had a huge heart, I hope that I am like that too in the eyes of people, it is something that I hope to have (…) I think about it every day, it’s normal. But I live with it. And I know they’re there anyway.”
