Elisabeth Borne shocked by the behavior of the deputies
What leave the Prime Minister amazed: “I was shocked, I don’t think it was necessarily heard in the microphones but when you have screams, songs, on the side of the deputies of the NUPES, on the side of the deputies of the Rassemblement National who bang on their desks … Cries where you can’t even hear yourself speak, but I remind you that the Parliament, the National Assembly is a place where we debate” she said sorry before adding: “I think that reflects the fact that some opposition groups do not respect our institutions. Some have said it clearly, they want chaos in the Assembly and in the street”.

Not enough to convince the French citizens who hastened to take to the streets to show their rage at this reform which lengthens the working period and moves away the retirement age of millions of people. On Twitter, anger also rumbles over the Prime Minister’s decision.
