A shocking revelation
“I believe that you are as much adored as you are hated. I think it’s the same thing.”she first analyzed in the preamble before remembering a concert which had been a particularly source of stress for the young woman she was at the time.
“I received letters with death threats. Just before doing a concert, I received a bouquet of flowers in my dressing room and the little note was: ‘Enjoy this concert, it’s your last concert’. Basically, the guy, he said he was going to shoot me on stage…It wasn’t funny.
