Sherbrooke: two suspects wanted for theft and hit and run

The Sherbrooke Police Service (SPS) is seeking to arrest two suspects, a man and a woman, for theft of a coat followed by a hit-and-run.

The facts date back to February 13 when around 3:30 p.m., the suspects robbed the Simons house in Carrefour de l’Estrie.

The 25-year-old man pushed an employee who was trying to retrieve the stolen coat against a vehicle before boarding a black Infiniti QX60 3.5 SUV.

Visibly panicked, the suspect yelled at the driver of the SUV to back up, while the passenger side door was left open, police said.

While backing up, the SUV scrapes another parked vehicle and shatters its mirror, causing damage that resulted in the SUV’s door no longer closing.

A white man wearing a black coat and pale blue jeans, the suspect is 1.82m tall, weighs 82kg and has brown hair.

With an approximate age of 35, his accomplice is 1.70 m tall, weighs 68 kg and has blond hair. She wore a pink coat, blue jeans pants and white shoes.
