(Sherbrooke) A five-month-old baby suffered serious injuries when a car hit the stroller he was in on Sunday morning in Sherbrooke.

The event occurred around 10:25 a.m. at the intersection of boulevard de Portland and rue Wilson.
While an adult – whose identity has not been revealed – was crossing the street with the baby at the pedestrian crossing, a driver hit the stroller.
According to information from the Sherbrooke Police Department, the five-month-old child suffered serious injuries. He was transported to a hospital, where there were fears for his life.
The driver, a 37-year-old man, was also taken to the hospital for nervous shock.
Investigators and forensic identification technicians, with the assistance of patrol officers, went to the scene to examine the scene and meet with witnesses.
The Sherbrooke police are still considering all the hypotheses concerning this accident.
