It’s the return of a program made up of international artists, including Shepard Fairey, creator of the OBEY brand, to whom we owe the famous “Hope” poster created for Barack Obama’s campaign.

Fairey will also sign a major mural downtown, on Saint-Laurent Boulevard, while the Montreal creative studio Baillat will ensure the visual identity of the 10and anniversary declined in 10 illustrations.

In addition, MURAL has announced three evenings of shows: with rappers Lil Yachty and Nardo Wick on Friday, June 10; Moonshine with Ayra Starr on Saturdays; then Skepta and Lancey Foux on Sunday June 12. Other guests will also be there.

MURAL anticipates the loss of its headquarters, the parking lot at 3527 Saint-Laurent Boulevard, where the new Montreal Holocaust Museum will be built. He will therefore present his shows on rue Peel, just south of rue Saint-Jacques, on a site that will be able to accommodate 4,000 festival-goers.

MURAL will announce full lineup details on April 26.
