Departures are multiplying on France Télévisions. A few days ago it was Laurence Boccolini who formalized his own, no longer wishing to be in charge of Everyone wants to take its place.
But on the public service, not everything always goes as planned when the leading figures leave. It happens regularly that the farewell speeches are interrupted.
Remember, in 2021, Fabienne Amiach wanted to say a few words after thirty-two years in the weather on France 3 but the chain had decided otherwise.
“I’m so emotional…I’m leaving and it’s so emotional,” she said, as the following message appeared behind her: “Thank you for your loyalty. I wish you the best, take good care of yourself. After 32 years, I am leaving for a new horizon.”
A few seconds later, her colleagues Myriam Seurat, Chloé Nabédian and Nathalie Rihouet landed on set to show him all their tenderness but this moment had been cut short by the launch of an advertising page.
Same fate for Matausch
Catherine Matauschshe said goodbye to viewers this Sunday, July 2, 2023. And suffered the same treatment. “It’s not over because I’m tackling new adventures. There’s so much to do in the light and in the shadow of television…”confided live the emblematic presenter of the JT who in turn saw an ad page to cut him the quid.
Since then, on social networks, anger has rumbled. Many of them rant against France 3 who, decidedly, does not like this kind of exercise at all.
