After seventeen years at the head of Miss France, Sylvie Tellier was pushed out. “Now, Alexia Laroche-Joubert alone assumes the functions of president and general manager of the Miss France company and has chosen Cindy Fabre to help her”she made a point of specifying in an interview granted to TVMag.
“When I arrived in 2005, the legacy was not simple. Audiences were down, the public was aging, the company had been bought by Endemol in 2002, relations were conflicting between Geneviève de Fontenay, her son, Xavier , and the direction of the group, and the sometimes difficult cohabitation between Jean-Pierre Foucault and Geneviève de Fontenay during the ceremony”also recalled Sylvie Tellier.
If she does not keep only good memories of the lady in the hat, the main interested party will however always remain nostalgic for a very special moment for the Misses: the famous passage on the set of the 1 p.m. news from Jean-Pierre Pernaut!
Moreover, Sylvie paid him a vibrant tribute just after being fired. Taking hold of her Instagram account, she indeed published a photo of herself alongside the late star journalist and noted in the caption: “Without you, Miss France would not have had the same flavor, the same success. For always my Jean-Pierre, I miss you!”
