The four emblematic teachers of the first eight seasons of the star Academy, broadcast on TF1 between 2001 and 2008, have agreed to return for a week dedicated to nostalgia. The opportunity for each of them to share a unique lesson with the seven students still in class, and to get to know each of them. And if Kamel Ouali seems to have had a real crush on Lénie, Armande Altaï revealed to Le Parisien that her crush was Djebril : “As soon as he is not stressed, he has a natural swing” she declared, while highlighting the vocal prowess of Pierre and Candice.
In this same interview, Armande Altaï looked back on the three seasons she spent teaching singing to Academicians. If the professional has very good memories by Emma Daumas, Michal Kwiatkowski and Jean-Pascal Lacostetwenty years later she remains an immoderate fan of Nolwenn Leroy, whom she knew even before she entered the castle : “She was already with me in class. She is music itself. She has a dark and melancholic grace, a unique voice that goes from the deepest to the head voice without a break, which I had never seen “. Armande Altaï is less tender with Jenifer: if she recognizes the first winner of season 1 as having real talent, she nevertheless finds some faults in her, that means she can’t sing everything.

“She always had an exceptionally high voice, with something groovy, a little broken and rock’n’roll too. She is very hardworking, knew how to correct all her little faults. She sang fresh and adorable little songs but she could cover Aretha Franklin” she declared. However, her favorite remains Elodie Frégé. If the winner of the third season was unable to make a brilliant career as a singer, and has since converted to comedy, Armande Altaï remains today deeply convinced that Elodie Frégé’s voice is one of the best that the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys has known: “Lana Del Rey can go to bed” the singing teacher dared… It’s said!
