This Thursday, February 16, 2023, Catherine Lachens was the guest of Jordan de Luxe on the set of At Jordan’s. An opportunity for the famous actress (Confession of a flirt, A banker’s love, The doctor) to look back on her career, but also to discuss her new lifestyle since she retired. If the star has played in many films, she believes that the cinema has not been generous. She considers, in fact, that no feature film has brought her enough money, unlike advertising.
“The thing that really brought me money and thanks to which I was able to buy my apartment, was advertising”, she says. Now retired, the actress admits to having a very different lifestyle, without it being “complicated”.“I don’t have a nice retirement”, she specifies. Intrigued, Jordan de Luxe therefore wanted to know more. “Not a nice retirement? Does that mean that if I tell you 1700 euros net, are we far from it?” What the 77-year-old actress replied: “We’re close.” Dissatisfied, Catherine Lachens also added: “I would tend to spend it all, but I have to be careful.”
