Sharon Stone cast in a slit leather dress, the actress sets the red carpet ablaze!

Ordinary mortals will have to wait until Wednesday, June 22, 2022 to discover the musical biopic Elvis in dark rooms. But the 2h39 feature film, signed Baz Luhrmann – Romeo + Juliet, Moulin Rouge , is presented in preview at the Cannes International Film Festival on May 25… and for good reason: it is part of the official selection of this 75th edition of the event, and is therefore in the running to obtain the prestigious Palme Golden. Inevitably, such an event brought together an incalculable number of stars on the red carpet, positioned at the edge of the Palais des Festivals.

Elvis, as its name suggests, is a film based on the life and musical work of Elvis Presley. The director, Baz Luhrmann, chose to explore the complex relationship that the King had for twenty years with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker. To embody the king of pop, it is the young Austin Butler, former boyfriend of Vanessa Hudgens, who has been selected. He had recently been spotted in some terrific productions, Once Upon a Time in Hollywoodby Quentin Tarantino, The Dead don’t die, by Jim Jarmusch for example. Not everyone would necessarily have bet on such success, after having discovered it in very cute Disney productions like the spin-off ofHigh School Musical entitled Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure or some episodes of the series Hannah Montana

To applaud the feat, a large part of the globe had made the trip, celebrities from the world of cinema, but also from music or other artistic fields. A true goddess of the seventh art, Sharon Stone also walked the red carpet, before going to watch Elvis, in an outfit matching the red carpet: a long tight dress, sublime, scarlet leather, slit at the back. Large sunglasses also protected his gaze from the sun… and from all the flashes that crackled in his path. Can’t help falling in love – “I can’t help falling in love– by Elvis Presley has rarely worn its title so well…
