Homemade soup, petits fours, pastries and music in this illuminated historic place. Christmas for all, was, for an evening, a moment to forget his worries, to share, to be surrounded, “looking for Christmas, a little comfort, friendliness, people and discussion” for some people.

Stéphane had also come to seek a little warmth, failing to be able to spend Christmas with his family this year: “the family is far away and this year we have not been able to meet. And me, to move around, it is difficult: I do not have enough to put gasoline in my car or pay myself a ticket. train”.

Several associations are mobilized each year for the organization: the Diocese of Tours, the Red Cross, the Food Bank, the association café La Barque and the Secours Catholique. This evening was open to everyone, but in particular to isolated people, in difficulty and those who wish to spend a friendly, united and gourmet Christmas.

The products were donated by individuals and the Food Bank. About fifty volunteers gave of their time this Friday, December 24.
