Shannen Doherty has revealed she is downsizing her assets to make life easier for her family in the event of her death.

The former star of Beverly Hills, 90210who has stage 4 breast cancer, revealed on Monday’s (April 1, 24) episode of her podcast Let’s Be Clear that she had emptied her storage and houses and that she had given or sold items to help her mother Rosa.
“My priority right now is my mother. I know it will be hard for her if I die before her,” she explained. “For this reason, I want other things to be much easier. I don’t want her to have a bunch of things to deal with. I don’t want her to end up with four storage spaces full of furniture. »
The 52-year-old actress explained that the money she made from selling her possessions was used to create new memories with her mother. “It allows me to travel more because I earn money by selling my goods. I can then build different memories with the people I love,” she continues.
And added: “I can take my mother on vacation with this extra money, without dipping into my assets which will ensure that everyone in my life will be taken care of once I am dead. »
Shannen Doherty said packing up her belongings in her Tennessee home was emotional because she felt like she was giving up on her dream of creating a sanctuary for horses in this area. However, she later realized that parting ways with the property was “the right thing to do” as it would help “leave behind a cleaner, easier transition”.
Shannen Doherty revealed last year that the cancer had spread to her brain and bones.
