It’s a saga that has had many twists and turns over the past few months, but it seems that we are finally reaching an agreement between Shakira and Gerard Pique in the negotiations which have opposed them for several months concerning the custody of their two boys. It must be said that the two stars did not really part on very good terms last June. If the rumors ran a few days before, the couple announced their separation by press release and since then, relations have been complicated between the former lovers.
If they were never married, Shakira and Gerard Pique still had two children together, little Sasha and Milan and the whole issue of the current negotiations between the lawyers of the two stars relate to the shared custody of the parents. Rather bitter discussions that continued for long weeks, but it seems that we have finally found a solution in this case. In a joint press release, the 45-year-old Colombian and the 35-year-old Spaniard have just announced the good news. “We signed an agreement that guarantees the well-being of our children and which will be ratified in court, within the framework of a merely formal procedure”says the artist’s communications team in a joint statement.

According to Gerard Pique’s lawyer, his ex plans to move to Miami where she could take her children to raise them. The latter will have to content himself with ten days a month with his boys, as well as holiday periods. Based in Barcelona, he will therefore probably have to travel a lot in the future if he wants to see them.
Just retired from the football fields, Gerard Piqué will now have the time to devote himself to his children, who risk flying away soon on the other side of the Atlantic.
