(London) The star presenter of the BBC Huw Edwards was named by his wife on Wednesday evening as the journalist targeted for several days by sexual charges.
“I make this statement on behalf of my husband Huw Edwards, after five extremely difficult days for our family,” his wife Vicky Flind wrote in a statement to the PA agency. At the same time, the London police for their part indicated that no criminal offense seemed to have been committed in this case which has been in the headlines for five days.
