Former police officer Maxime Lehoux, convicted of having sexually assaulted a colleague from the Quebec City police department in December 2016, has just been sentenced to serve an 18-month prison term.

Last May, a jury found the 30-year-old guilty of sexually assaulting a coworker on a drunken Christmas party.
On the evening of the events, several police officers from the Quebec City Police Department participated in a party that was taking place in Stoneham.
The version retained by the jurors is that Lehoux took advantage of the state of advanced drunkenness of the policewoman to sexually assault her.
