Place of amusement in Ile-de-France, the Fête des Loges would have been the scene of a sexual assault on the night of July 2 to 3, 2022. Indeed, it is in the famous funfair of Saint-Germain- en-Laye that a young woman accused the employee of a ghost train dressed as a clown of having insistently touched her chest, indicates the site Actu.fr.
The facts took place this weekend when the 24-year-old young woman chose to board the ghost train. Once in the cart following his journey of horror, one of the fairground clowns would have caressed his breast voluntarily, taking advantage of the darkness in which the attraction is located. The alleged victim asked for an explanation from the man who did not answer him. She therefore alerted the carousel manager. The police, who were patrolling the party, arrived very quickly, specifies Actu.fr. The alleged culprit is 27 years old and was taken into custody at the Saint-Germain-en-Laye police station. He, the victim and the people accompanying him will be interviewed during the day.
The Parisian specifies that this is the first incident noted at the Fête des Loges since its inauguration last week. A place that is very busy with nearly 15,000 visitors this Saturday. The police forces have therefore been reinforced for the event which runs until August 15: “Between 20 and 30 police officers are dispatched permanently on the spot during the weekends“, specifies the daily.
A week earlier, another type of incident took place in an amusement park. The La Catapulte merry-go-round in the Luna Park in Fréjus (Var) experienced a frightening technical problem: one of the cables propelling the ball in the air broke, causing only a slight injury.
