The date that all fans of Sex and the City awaited is finally known: the most glamorous New Yorkers on TV will arrive on HBO Max as well as Crave on December 9, with two new episodes that will be uploaded simultaneously.
The other eight episodes of the sequel to the famous series, called And Just Like That, will subsequently be put online at the rate of one episode per week.
This new season will also be offered in a French subtitled version on Crave.
Sarah Jessica Parker will rediscover her character as Carrie Bradshaw and her role as a narrator alongside her two best friends, lawyer Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) and gallery owner Charlotte York (Kristin Davis). But Kim Cattrall, who played the incomparable Samantha Jones in the original series, would not follow after disagreements with Sarah Jessica Parker.
Signed Michael Patrick King, the season which comes in 10 episodes follows the three women in their friendship and their romantic tribulations when they are now in their fifties.
Also in the cast are Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman and Chris Noth.
