Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport looked prepandemic on Saturday morning as hundreds of travelers waited for their flights.
The sun destinations were very popular among the travelers present.
Those met by the TVA Nouvelles team admitted that it was often a trip planned for several weeks and that they intended to comply with health measures.
Others argued they were “not afraid of the pandemic and the rise in cases.”
Travelers will, however, have to be patient on their return since the waiting time may be longer.
As of next Tuesday, all travelers will have to show a negative result of a COVID test.
The federal government has also warned Canadians that the rules in effect when they return from vacation could change at any time.
