In Lyon (Rhône), the violent attack on a teenager was filmed and broadcast on social networks. The Lyon public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation. Several teenage girls were taken into police custody on Friday December 15.
The video, of rare violence, lasts less than a minute. On October 10, a teenage girl was hit by two other teenage girls in a building cellar in Lyon (Rhône). According to information from franceinfo, the victim reported acts of sexual assault committed by the brother of one of the attackers. The suspects had been identified and were due to be interviewed by the police shortly.
Images broadcast on social networks
The distribution of the images on social networks during the day of Thursday, December 14 accelerated things. One of the attackers went to the police station on Thursday evening, claiming to be the victim of death threats and cyberstalking. On Friday morning, the police arrested three other young girls aged 13 and 14, placed in police custody. The Lyon public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into aggravated violence and repeated death threats. The victim, aged 13, also filed a complaint.
