At least 21 people have died in the United States after violent tornadoes struck several states. The material damage was considerable.

In Texas, many people were injured by the blast of a tornado that struck a gas station. The roof and walls of the building were destroyed by the power of the gusts. “It was horrible”confides a man who tried to take refuge in the building.
In Arkansas, a landscape dotted with destroyed houses emerges. “It felt like the tornado was sucking in the walls and windows. The roof flew off,” testifies a resident. Tornadoes occur regularly in these central and southern states of the United States. According to a latest report, at least 21 people have died. Thousands of people were homeless on Monday May 27.
