State online services are targeted by computer attacks, the government announced Monday March 11. “Since yesterday evening, several State services have been the subject of computer attacks whose technical methods are classic, but the intensity is unprecedented”, specifies Matignon. Many ministerial services are thus concerned. A crisis unit was activated on Sunday evening, “to deploy countermeasures and guarantee the continuity of IT services”specify the Prime Minister’s services.

The group Anonymous Sudan claimed responsibility for the attacks on Telegram, as the newspaper reported The Parisian. On messaging, the group says it has targeted the ministries of Culture, Health, Economy and Ecological Transition, the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, the Interministerial Digital Directorate, the National Geographic Institute and the services of the Prime Minister. According to Matignon, “the impact of these attacks has been reduced for most services and access to state sites restored”teams are still mobilized to deal with these attacks.
