Sectors will be avoided in the metropolis this weekend, in particular on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge, Highway 40 and in the Turcot interchange, indicates Mobility Montreal.

The Jacques-Cartier Bridge will be completely closed on Saturday, July 2 between 8:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. The access ramps to the bridge will however close at 8 p.m. Fireworks will be held for a special tribute to the Prince, and spectators will be allowed to watch the fireworks on the bridge.
For inspection work, the R-132 West access ramp from the Honoré-Mercier Bridge to Montreal will close on Sunday, July 3 at 9 p.m. until the next morning.
Highway 40, between exit 65 and the Laurentides interchange, is closed until July 4 at 5 a.m. The entrances to boulevard de la Côte-Vertu and A-520 are then inaccessible, as are the ramps into the Décarie interchange from the A-15, R-117 south and boulevard Décarie. Motorists are advised to detour via the A-40 West service road and Devonshire Road.
In the Turcot interchange, the ramps leading from the A-15 North and the A-15 South to the city center are closed until Monday at 5 a.m. The slip road leading from Boulevard Pullman to R-136 is also closed according to the same schedule.
At 10 p.m. on Saturday, the Pie-IX bridge will be completely closed in both directions, between Montreal and Laval. Traffic is expected to resume Monday morning at 5 a.m. It will also resume at exit 6 of the Ville-Marie tunnel, which closed Thursday evening at 10 p.m.
Motorists will also have to deal with the closure of rue Saint-Antoine Ouest between rue George-Vanier and avenue Atwater all weekend between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.
As for the south shore of Montreal, the A-30 West is still closed at Grande Allée (exit 69) until Monday morning. In Boucherville, it is the service road of the A-20 West in the interchange at the level of the A-30 which will be closed from Friday 10:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday morning.
