Several people opened fire in a concert hall in the suburbs of Moscow, causing “deaths”, announced local authorities on Friday March 22. A fire broke out in the building, the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, which is being evacuated, emergency services told the public agency Tass. “Deaths”, according to the mayor of Moscow. “A terrible tragedy occurred today in Crocus City. I extend my condolences to the loved ones of the deceased”, declared Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. The Ria Novosti agency reported “wounded” after “automatic weapon fire”quoting his journalist on site.

International reactions. Orthodox Patriarch Kirill “pray for peace for the souls of the deceased”, according to its spokesperson, Vladimir Legoida. For its part, the White House sends its thoughts to the victims of “the horrible shooting”. The American presidency assures that it has not “no indication at this stage” of Ukrainian involvement in this attack.
