A simple ceremony. A Bach suite to pay tribute to the victims. Seven years after the tragedy in Puisseguin (Gironde), killing 43, survivors of the accident involving a bus with elderly people on board and a truck pay tribute to the missing. Among them, Raymond Silvestrini: “We can’t forget, it’s not possible. The ceremony, over the years it will fade, but we have to try to maintain it.”

In his misfortune, Raymond had the chance to meet Monique Montion, also a survivor of the accident. “Sleep resumed when I got in with you”, explains Raymond. In the tragedy of October 23, 2015, Monique lost her father, her aunt and two of her sisters. The investigation, supposed to establish the responsibilities, resulted in a dismissal, following the death of the driver of the truck. “Unthinkable”according to Raymond who, with the civil parties, filed an appeal examined on November 18.
