Gusts of water, a violent and sudden storm: you have to cling to picket in an attempt to prevent the tents from blowing away. The festival of Eurockeansin Belfort (Territory-de-Belfort)was to begin on the evening of Thursday, June 30. The participants, caught off guard by the bad weather, had to evacuate urgently. For their part, the organizers are trying to close the tarpaulins, but the water is already starting to infiltrate. On the ceiling, the lamps threaten to fall.

Several trees were uprooted, and seven festival-goers were injured. We saw a wounded gendarme who came to tell us to get out of the site. (…) His face was a little bloody“, says a young man. The organizers had to cancel the first evening of the festival. Other storms, this time hail, hit Alsace and the Lyon region. The firefighters had to intervene several times.
