Service interruption until 6:30 p.m. on the Montreal metro orange line

During rush hour, the orange line of the Montreal metro is stopped until 6:30 p.m., between Côte-Vertu and Berri-UQAM stations, due to an electrical outage, reported on X (formerly Twitter) the Société de transports de Montréal (STM). The service should therefore resume around this same time.

The transport company offers a special bus service between Côte-Vertu and Lionel-Groulx stations. The stops are located near the stations and are identifiable by the color of the line they serve, indicates the STM. Service is maintained between the Berri-UQAM and Montmorency stations, but is operating slowly.

At 4:25 p.m., the STM announced a service interruption on the entire orange line, between Côte-Vertu and Montmorency stations. A few minutes later, it indicated that the problem was contained between the Côte-Vertu and Berri-UQAM stations.
