If this red is still all shaken up from its recent bottling – a good hour in a carafe won’t do it any harm – it appears that this Gamay, without the concentration of the 2020 vintage, is already a classic Roannais. The substance is impeccable with supple tannins building up over time, all not lacking in fruit or character. (5) ©
