“Series” by the Barthollet sisters, the most beautiful melodies of the small screen in symphonic version

Camille and Julie Berthollet play alternately and in a prodigious balance between the great titles of the repertoire and the music of the two centuries they overlap. From Brahms, Bach, Schubert to their 4 seasons, personal and unpublished version of Vivaldi’s masterpiece, they slide over the bow towards Nino Ferrer and Stromae, Brel and Bruel without ever forgetting the essentials of classical music which built them, Camille at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and Julie at the Haute École in Geneva.

For their new Opus, “Séries”, the two young musicians invite music created for the small screen to join the family of great symphonic works.

Passionate about series like the young people of their generation, but also their elders, Camille and Julie build their program on pieces written for yesterday and today series, from the 1960s to 2021.
