Double blow for Sergio Pérez. The Mexican won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku on Sunday April 30, after winning the sprint race the day before. He signs his sixth career victory, and is ahead of his teammate Max Verstappen, who only leads the championship by 6 points. The Dutchman, weighed down by a pit stop before the safety car entered the track (10th lap, after the exit of Nyck de Vries), never came back to the winner of the day.

This new double from Red Bull underlines the grip of the team, far ahead of the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc, who will only have retained his pole for four laps. Fernando Alonso is inserted in fourth position between the two Ferraris of Leclerc and Carlos Sainz (5th). Long in the points, Frenchman Esteban Ocon had to pit at the end of the race and finished 15th, just behind his teammate Pierre Gasly (14th), who started from the pits.
