The couple reveals in particular that their love story has lasted for 18 years. Which means that Serge Lama and Luana Santonino were already together before the tragic disappearance of the singer’s first wife, Michèle Potier.
Their meeting dates back to 2002. Luana Santonino attended a concert by Serge Lama. During a signing session, she was able to exchange her first words with the one who will become her husband. Luana Santonino in particular wrote him a note that Serge Lama has not forgotten, nearly twenty years later: “Life is a safe full of secrets, never lose the key”. In 2003, Serge Lama and Luana Santonino began to see each other, but at a distance. It was not until 2006 that the couple moved to Paris.
At that time, Serge Lama was still married to Michèle Potier. However, there was no question of adultery since their relationship had actually been over for a while. “We were separated, while remaining very close. We did not live together with Michele, we never did”, indicates Serge Lama to our colleagues at “Gala”. “I did not want to break their relationship. It was very important for Serge that Michele remains Madame Lama. Something that I have perfectly integrated”, adds Luana Santonino.
