He had a small briefcase, right?”asked the journalist before his guest replied: “Yes yes! He always had money on him, cash in a briefcase. He was always afraid. There was always the free zone and the occupied zone. So if he had to flee, he had money on him”. Surprised, Gilles Ganzmann then asked Jacky for confirmation that Serge Gainsbourg “lived in this anguish”. To which the journalist responded in the affirmative.
