The Société des Établissements de Plein Air du Québec is expanding its Étoile ready-to-camp offer, a model it developed that offers more space and a greater capacity (6 people) than its Huttopia tents. New units will thus be created in Parc national du Mont-Mégantic (Franceville sector), in Parc national de la Pointe-Taillon (Camp-de-Touage sector) and in the La Vérendrye wildlife reserve (Baie-des-Sables sector). . A few additional campsites will also be offered in the Rimouski wildlife reserve.

In the Charlevoix region, a new pavilion was erected in the L’Équerre sector of the Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie national park. Accessible on foot, by bike or by canoe, this 4-bedroom chalet can be rented exclusively in summer and in shelter mode in winter.

A new chalet was also built in the Mastigouche wildlife reserve, which straddles the Lanaudière and Mauricie regions. Finally, two new Horizon cabins can be reserved for small game hunting stays this fall, in the Ashuapmushuan wildlife reserve, in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean.

Reservations for these accommodations will open on April 28 at 9 a.m. Note that it is already possible to book a stay in a chalet for the summer of 2023.
