Her ex no longer has the right to approach her! So says a judge who granted Selma Blair a restraining order against her former boyfriend.
The actress filed for a protective order on February 25 after accusing Ronald Carlson, with whom she was in a relationship for 7 years, of having physically assaulted him on February 22. In the documents obtained by our colleagues from People, Selma Blair said that the two exes were in the process of returning their respective keys when the latter began to feel unwell. She said she was weakened by her treatment for multiple sclerosis. She then claimed that her Ronald Carlson allegedly started verbally attacking her, yelling that she was “useless“, adding, “I don’t deserve this, I can do so much better than you.“
The rest of the scene is even more shocking. Ronald would then be “got mad” and would have attacked her ex, this time physically. The latter explained that she was strangled while she was lying on the sofa and that she was “shook his head and shoulders aggressively.” The star of Hellboy explained that in self-defense she put her fingers in her ex’s eyes and mouth and screamed for help from her housekeeper. Unable to breathe, she reportedly lost consciousness briefly before Ronald slapped her and pushed her to the ground, causing her nose to bleed.
After the departure of her attacker, the actress called the Los Angeles police to whom she detailed the facts. She was then taken to hospital after fainting. The day from hell finally ended with Ronald Carlson being arrested for domestic violence with bodily harm, as photos taken of Selma Blair showed bruises around her neck and chin.
Fortunately, he is now kept at a safe distance.
