But on Sunday February 27, 2022, it was another artist who caught all eyes. And this completely in spite of herself. Come to give the prize for best actress in a supporting role, Selena Gomez has indeed had to face a big unexpected. The ex of Justin Bieber had however arrived sublime, dressed in a sumptuous black Oscar de la Renta dress accessorized with a no less sublime Bulgari necklace. But while she quietly posed in front of the photographers, the singer experienced a big imbalance. Caught by her bodyguard while she was on the ground, she then chose to keep her heels in her hand, the latter being visibly responsible for the incident.

A few minutes later, it was therefore barefoot that Selena Gomez decided to go on stage to present, in the company of Martin Short, her colleague from “Only Murders in the Building”, the prize for best actress in a second role, won by Ariana DeBose for “West Side Story”.
