Seizure of 9 kilos of cannabis on the A71, two men remanded in custody

New drug seizure by customs in Cher this week. Thursday, February 17, during a control operation at the rest area in the Center of France, on the A71, located near Bruère Allichamps, customs officers discovered nine kilos of herbal cannabis hidden in a car. The two occupants were placed in customs detention before being questioned in police custody at the Bourges gendarmerie.

Both of Moroccan origin, they are between 25 and 30 years old, and came from Spain. If the floor suspect the drugs were an order, the two men did not confirm this during their interrogation, nor did they specify what their point of arrival was. They are unknown to justice in France.

They were placed this Saturday evening in pre-trial detention pending summons to court of Bourges, on March 23rd.
