twenty five past eight : Hello @At the foot of Ventoux (very nice place ;-)) and @influence. I understand your question. Contrary to the presidential election, the legislative ones are a sum of 577 individual elections. We therefore give the final results as soon as we have them for the constituencies where the vote is closed, which is the case in Overseas France. The 8 p.m. rule is valid for metropolitan constituencies.

08:07 : You already give the results of the DOM-TOM. So that’s the new rule, we no longer wait for Sunday at 8 p.m., the results are given as soon as the polls close?

08:07 : Hello, a little question: why are you giving the results of Guadeloupe this morning when the polling stations are barely opening in mainland France. Shouldn’t we wait for all the polling stations to close to discuss the results? Thank you and good day

08:04 : The outgoing MP lost with 41.35% of the vote behind Christian Baptiste (DVG), supported by Nupes, elected with 58.65% of the vote. Justine Benin will therefore have to resign, in accordance with an unwritten rule but already applied in 2017 by Emmanuel Macron.

08:32 : First setback of the day for the government, with the defeat of the Secretary of State in charge of the sea, Justine Benin, in the 2nd district of Guadeloupe.
