Some members of the play’s cast Too human

Playwright Étienne Lepage joins forces once again with director Catherine Vidal to present Too human. Through a mix of humorous scenes, the play will lift the veil on our little cowardices, our daily hypocrisy and our very human failings. A cast of 10 performers was assembled to bring this failing humanity to the stage. The Lepage-Vidal duo had carried out exquisite work on The idiot by Dostoyevsky, at TNM… We can’t wait to see what he’s up to here.

Performers Gabriel Lemire and Kariane Héroux-Danis will be in the show Helgi.

At 37 years old, Tyrfingur Tyrfingsson has already earned a reputation as an enfant terrible in Iceland. For the first time, one of his texts will be brought to a local stage, under the direction of director Marie-Ève Milot. Helgi is a black comedy set against a backdrop of sinister prophecy and… funeral directors! The cast of five performers notably includes Gabriel Lemire and Fabien Cloutier, who will have to bring to the stage a crude language where the trivial and tragedy rub shoulders, it is said.

Violette Chauveau will take on the threadbare clothes of the deceased André Brassard for the revival of The last tape.

Several sure values will return to the stage this season at Quat’Sous. This is the case of The last tape, a play by Olivier Choinière in which Violette Chauveau wears the clothes of the late director André Brassard in a breathtaking manner. Also to watch: the return ofAgamemnon in the Ringwhere the fight crosses swords with Greek tragedy in Alexandrines, or even Black Cabaretby choreographer Mélanie Demers.
