A woman in her forties was arrested after hitting a nurse in the face who asked her to follow health instructions at a screening clinic in Lévis.
At around 4 p.m. Monday, a lady came to the screening center located at 50, route du Président-Kennedy, in Lévis. The woman refused to respect sanitary measures and was aggressive, tells Press the spokesperson for the Police Department of the City of Lévis (SPVL), Jean-Sébastien Levan.
A verbal altercation arose between the woman, a nurse who was at the reception and people waiting in line.
The clinic staff asked the lady to leave the area. “She walked towards the exit and when she came out she turned around and knocked [l’infirmière] Says Levan. The victim fell to the ground and was transported to hospital by ambulance.
Police were called to the scene and the woman was arrested. She is charged with assault. She was released on a promise to appear.
