Scottish Open | Maude-Aimée Leblanc one shot from the lead after three rounds

(Irvine) Sherbrooke’s Maude-Aimée Leblanc posted the best score of the day, 66 (-6), and she finds herself a shot from the lead with a round to play at the LPGA Scottish Open.

Leblanc found herself in the lead before committing her only bogey of the day at 16e hole. She redeemed herself with a seventh birdie at 18e hole.

The 33-year-old golfer is looking for her first victory on the LPGA Tour. She has three top 10 on his list, including two this season.

New Zealander Lydia Ko and Frenchwoman Céline Boutier share the lead at 15 under after 54 holes.

Ko, who finished tied for third last week at the Evian Championship, had a two-shot lead heading into the resumption of action on Saturday morning at the Dundonald Links. However, she was content with a score of 71 during a round of sawtooth.

Boutier joined him in the lead with a round of 67.

Germany’s Leonie Harm (67) is tied for third with Leblanc at 14 under.

South Korean Eun-Hee Ji (70) and American Lilia Vu (71) also find themselves within striking distance at 13 minus. American Cheyenne Knight (67) and Thailand’s Wichanee Meechai (70) follow at 12 under.
