(Louisville) World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler was arrested and handcuffed Friday morning when he allegedly tried to bypass a police checkpoint on his way to the Valhalla course in Louisville where he was to play the second round of the Championship of the PGA, according to American media.
Scheffler allegedly refused to stop at the request of a police officer who was regulating traffic around the golf club, where an accident that occurred before the player’s arrival had created a huge traffic jam, according to the same source.
