In Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), teachers exercise their right of withdrawal and denounce a scene of violence of which one of their colleagues and students were victims. During sports, a class was the target of caillasting, Friday, November 12.
The assault took place on Friday, November 12 in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône). Students and their physical education teacher were curdled in the middle of class by several teenagers with camouflaged faces and came from outside. “The shots were very targeted (…) the stones were hitting our facilities”, testifies the professor.
Located in the heart of a city in the northern districts of Marseille, the college welcomes more than 400 students. Faced with this situation, since Monday, almost all teachers have decided to exercise their right of withdrawal as long as the security of the establishment is not assured. Teachers are demanding action and no longer want mere promises. For its part, the department confirms that the anti-intrusion alarm will be properly repaired as well as the two defective surveillance cameras.
