A Philadelphia Phillies fan fell from the bleachers into the Boston Red Sox bullpen Friday during a game at Citizens Bank Park.
At the end of the first inning, the fan went over a safety rail trying to grab a ball thrown towards his section, right of center field, according to the NBC network.
He caused quite a commotion and a delay in the meeting, which was able to resume its course ten minutes later. The supporter received medical attention and was escorted on a stretcher.
He was rushed to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
